Building a quarterly refresher that people attend
Practical advice from our train-the-facilitator cohorts on keeping social engineering resilience practice alive between full workshops.
Annual workshops fade. Quarterly refreshers work when they stay short, local, and slightly uncomfortable in a useful way.
Facilitators who graduate from our train-the-facilitator cohort usually keep each refresher under forty-five minutes. One scenario, one refusal script, one escalation reminder. No new framework every quarter.
Rotate channels: email one month, WhatsApp the next, then a walk-in story. People notice when the format matches the channel they actually fear.
Attendance improves when managers sit in the first ten minutes and leave with the same cue cards as everyone else. Hierarchy that models the pause is more persuasive than another poster in the kitchen.
